Damian Cummins

Awards Director

Damian’s specialities lie in awards and marketing. For many years Damian worked for a national business organisation, running their national awards and campaigns. He previously owned an advertising agency and publishing house in London. Since 2011 he has branched back out into the world of business and with a top team of communication experts runs a very successful awards and marketing operation.

With an established group of experts now in play, Events and PR are well placed to double their business each year over the coming 4 years.

Damian does not believe that there are problems, merely solutions in disguise.

Jackie Creasey

Creative Director

Jackie, has run her own graphic design business for over 15 years.

During that time she worked for many recognizable high street brands including Abbey National, The Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital, Knoll International, Britain at War Museum and the Financial Reporting Council, including projects for Jim Henson.

 

Elaine Diviney

National Sales Director

Elaine originating from Donegal, Ireland started her career working in Northern Ireland with John Hume MP MEP.  Migrating to London in 1993 her career developed working for a number of high profile companies in the Telecommunications, Commercial & Retail industries including running her own business.

Elaine is not unfamiliar to the awards circuit, having been a previous finalist and winner of “St Albans Business of the Year” with her previous company.

With over 20 years of experience and now residing in Hertfordshire, with her husband and two sons, she appreciates and recognises the strength in which an Award brings to a business.  Elaine is a great believer in helping others, and seeing people and businesses succeed makes it all worthwhile.

Georgia Green

Events and Account Manager

Georgia is a hardworking, reliable and self-motivated individual with a creative mind always striving to work to the highest potential. As she is now the current Events Manager, she hopes to develop her skills she has from working in the hospitality industry, in order to eventually progress within the company bringing a range of new exciting ideas forward.

With interests in fashion, photography and social media, Georgia is an enthusiastic individual, not afraid to challenge herself in order to find a way to succeed. She is eager to learn more about the events industry and gain an extensive amount of new skills, by always being positive and approaching life with a smile.

Emily Green

Senior Events Co-ordinator

Emily entered the world of events and hospitality 5 years ago. During this time she achieved a first in her foundation degree in events management at university. She then spent 5 months as an assistant manager at a luxury ski chalet in Switzerland and took her first position in events planning here in the UK. In the past 18 months Emily has worked on a wide range of events from jewellery store promotion activities to elaborate parties and weddings.

Emily is excited to be joining our team and said “I would like to use my recent experiences and my passion for events to build my career at Events and PR. I am especially looking forward to a new challenge and working in a
different sector of the industry.”

“I love music and like to attend gigs as much as possible. My previous positions have added to my interest in food and drink, so I always like to
keep up with new trends.”

 

 

Charlotte Prosser

Sponsorship Sales Manager

After graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2014 with a degree in Humanities Charlotte travelled extensively, working and volunteering across America and Africa before starting her career in Sales and Events.Over the past few years Charlotte has worked hard as a sales executive and events co-ordinator and is now looking to bring all of her experience across to her new role in Events and PR.

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family and friends, festivals, theatre and running around after her new puppy!

Charlotte is very excited about joining the team and can’t wait to hit the ground running!

 

Claire Martin

Graphic Designer

Claire has worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years now. This has included working for a wide variety of design agencies and in more recent years on a freelance basis. She has always loved being creative and finds her work very rewarding.

As a Mum of 3, Claire enjoys the busy mix of work and home life.

 

Molly Fox

Events Co-ordinator

During her second year of university studying Events and Festival Management, Molly completed a placement with the Events and PR Team, resulting in a permanent position. Her bubbly personality and self-motivation allows her to use her university experience and put it into practice, developing key skills and confidence to strive within the industry. Alongside this role Molly is a supervisor at Paperchase, where she continues to learn and build confidence from a management point of view. Outside of work Molly loves to spend time with friends and family.

Amy Stojanovic

Junior Events Co-ordinator

I am hardworking, organised, reliable and enthusiastic to learn new skills that will benefit my career in the long term. As a Junior Events Co-ordinator Apprentice at Events and PR, it will provide me with the opportunity to build my career and gain knowledge about events. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family and also looking after and attending competitions with my horse.
 

Charlotte Cherry

Junior Events Co-ordinator

Charlotte has strong work ethics putting 100% into everything she does. With organisation and determination she completes all tasks efficiently, meeting any deadlines set.  She meets challenges and changes with enthusiasm and is capable of working under her own initiative and as part of a team. Charlotte loves meeting and getting to know new people, she has a bubbly personality, a cheerful disposition and is easily approachable. Her interests include fashion, social media and beauty ensuring she is up to date with all the latest trends. She also enjoys both copy/content and creative writing, playing tennis, reading and music. Charlotte is excited to join the team and is looking forward to developing her career in event management.

Katy Dunn

Accounting Administrator

Katy started her career as a PA, and when this role led her into having the opportunity to be trained in accounts she jumped at the chance and found her love for numbers. She went on to study and became a qualified bookkeeper with the institute of certified bookkeepers. She has now been balancing the books for over 10 years.

When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, trying to beat her daughter at badminton and has recently started cycling with her partner.

Damian Buckley

Computer & IT Specialist

Damian B has worked as an IT Engineer/Programmer since leaving University way back in the year 2001.  Having worked for a national small business organisation for many years, the opportunity to help out at Events and PR came along. Events and PR are just one of my many clients that he looks after 24/7.

I like to think I thrive on helping and assisting others, in what can sometimes seem like the impossible, and most daunting of situations.

 

Professor

The engine behind the machine

Our Professor is never far away, whether he is proofing our programmes, ensuring everything is delivered on time, keeping up morale and sometimes chatting up the ladies. The odd time he will appear on stage, but more times than not he’s moving boxes from A to B to prepare his favourite task – the goodie bags.
 

Phoebe Cummins

Events Team

Phoebe has been working at Events and PR for over 7 years alongside school and uni. She’s currently in her second year studying maths at the University of Warwick. As an organised individual she enjoys ensuring everything comes together on the day without any hiccups.

In her spare time, Phoebe enjoys dancing — especially tap and Irish — for which she competes nationally and internationally.

 

Anna Mayes

Awards Team

Anna is a friendly, hard-working individual. Anna started her first year at the University of Northampton in September 2017 studying Primary Education. Anna hopes to bring her interpersonal skills gained throughout her studies to help her succeed within her job role.

In her free time, Anna regularly attends Irish Dancing lessons and often competes at competition level alongside her team.

 

Laura Farrell

Awards Team

Laura is a resilient, hardworking and motivated individual. She is currently in her second year of studying a Biological Science degree at the University of Warwick and enjoys bringing her team work skills gained from working in the laboratory to help organise events.Outside of work and her degree, she enjoys tap dancing and takes part in regular shows and competitions.
 

Jud

Roaming Judge & All Round Expert

Although Jud looks perpetually young, he has many years’ experience as a judge across all our portfolio of awards. Always first to arrive and last to leave Jud likes to leave no application unturned and can be seen right up to the early hours of the morning checking the word count, grammar and spelling. A real team member JUD GEts it!
 

Winnie

Awards Advocate and Serial Winner

Winnie gets to as many awards as possible every year and more times than not is seen on stage winning another award. Winnie understands that not only has she a great and very successful business but she makes her applications easy for judges to score. She loves visuals, pictures, bullet points and graphs. Her favourite part of submissions though, are her testimonials that she always uploads as an attachment holding on to her precious word count for other information.
